When it rains, it...LEAKS?!!

Remember that 5-day rain storm we had in December (just a couple of weeks ago) that gave Mammoth 16 feet of snow?  Well, I found out that I had a leak :(  The strange thing was that it only leaked when it was raining REALLY hard, and it was on the first floor ceiling, rather than upstairs.  I had a roofing guy come out to check it out, and he had a tough time trying to figure out where the leak was coming from.  When I finally got a quote today, I just about fell out of my chair.  Fortunately, the roof guy (who was referred to me by my neighbors) said this is probably one of those flukey leaks that may never happen again, and he even suggested that I wait until it does happen again before I get it repaired.  So...I'm crossing my fingers that we don't have anymore crazy rain storms between now and next year's tax return!  As a few of my friends have already said, Welcome to homeownership...sigh
