Here we go...this thing is really happening! Funny, my friend Peggy is saying the same thing about this upcoming Cursillo weekend right now :)
God has been all around me today! First, He delivered a wonderful rainstorm for good luck, and then I had a great little God moment just before the notary came over to deliver the loan docs for me to sign (they sent a notary so I didn't have to drive in the rain)...I turned on my iPod to play some nice background music while I signed my life away...and the first song that came on was "Here I Am, Lord" which just so happens to be a significant Cursillo song for me! Pretty cool, eh?! And THEN, while the notary was here, we got to talking and I found out that she goes to St. Therese. She's heard of Cursillo but hasn't made one herself yet, she's got a son who goes to Saints, and she...I can't believe this one...just came from Adoration before she got the call to deliver my loan docs. God is SO GOOD!
As it stands right now, we are very possibly closing on Friday while I'm up on the mountain for Cursillo and I'll get my keys on Monday when I'm flying high with the Holy Spirit from the weekend. What a great way to start this homeowner "thing..." Thanks God :) for being so awesome!
