I FINALLY just got official word that my loan got approved. Boy were the lenders hard to work with! They just about asked for my birth certificate! I was waiting for them to ask for blood samples from each of my parents to prove that they really truly had me.
Long story short, the lenders asked for just about everything under the sun and this dragged out for WAAAAAAYYY too long...everyone involved was saying that the lenders have just gotten out of hand due to the financial crisis "stuff." Some of the things they asked for I could understand, but there were some things that were a bit on the ridiculous side, to say the least! Oh well, I made it through the escrow hell and expect to be signing my life away on Tuesday!
I am so ready for a glass of wine right now, and I can't wait to do so in my new hot tub ;)
