First Fruits...

I plucked a few mandarins off the tree today! :)  Boy are they tiny!  Take a look at these little things:

Aren't they cute?!  And if you take a look at the tree, it has a bunch of yellow spots on it, so there will soon be a lot more!  I tried one of these little guys today and it was actually pretty good.  Maybe they'll be all ripened by my housewarming party in a couple of weeks!

Speaking of first fruits, I made my first Home Depot "homeowner" purchase this past weekend...nothing too fancy, just a new water line for the fridge and a new switchplate for one that needs replacing. Matthew helped me put in a new water line in my refrigerator cuz the old one um, broke, when we tried to move the fridge recently.  Now that we've replaced the line and moved the fridge, I don't think I like the new location, so we may be moving it back this weekend.  Matthew also adjusted the hot tub heater so it will be all ready for the party! :)

The rain we had last weekend was very much welcomed by this new homeowner - this kind of weather will lower my water bill!!  I have a whole new reason to like the rain! :)  Now, if only the weather would warm up so I wouldn't be so darn cold in the house and tempted to turn on the heat...!  Oh well, I suppose you can't have everything...
