Moving Day

Moving Day was on Saturday, and the day started off raining.  Amazingly, I was not discouraged (it was a God thing) and it ended up being a beautful day!  So beautiful, in fact, that I realized for the first time just how spectacular my view is!  Not only can I see Torrey Pines, but I can see all of Del Mar, and even up to Pendleton.
The day went smoothly, and as I unpack, so far I have only found one broken glass.  My movers did a fantastic job! I can't thank you all enough!  Special thanks to Matthew for coordinating the day, Jim House for bringing his truck, Josh Emerson for his Tetris skills in packing the U-Haul truck, and Marc P. Smits for his P.E. expertise!  The day was long and these guys hung in there til the end.  A special shout out also goes to Betty O'Neill for her great ideas and kitchen-packing prowess.
The day ended appropriately with gorgeous sunset (complete with a "unique" green flash that lingered...very cool!) and of course a dip in the hot tub, and the stars were out making it a magical end to an exhausting yet exciting day.  I've said it many times already, and I'll say it again...God is good!

My awesome moving crew
